lyrics
Time is flowing, breaking
In the burning heaven, frozen hell
We're asking the sky for the answers
Cause the kings have lied to us again
Vanish with me in an instant
We'll reappear in the land of ice
Black dust between our fingers
And faces full of scars
Don't pray for me
Die we must
Pieces of time
Made of dust
Don't pray for me
Die we must
Pieces of Time
Made of dust
I want to travel again
Be the hero in a new story
To know what it's like to suffer
Every moment in actual pain
To know the truth and follow my fate
As the world repeats itself again
I've been facing the storms in the sea
I've been crawling thousand miles on my knees
Catching the air trying to breathe
Desperately waiting for someone to save me
I saw the statues pointing out of the dunes
Major cities covered with fumes
I feel that I'm slowly falling asleep
What kind of world will there be without me?
A thousand miles
With just one image in my mind
All that we love we leave behind
To find a land for a different life
I've been facing the storms in the sea
I've been crawling thousand miles on my knees
Catching the air trying to breathe
Desperately waiting for someone to save me
I saw the statues pointing out of the dunes
Major cities covered with fumes
I feel that I'm slowly falling asleep
What kind of world will there be without me?
I'm a big fan of The Faceless middle two albums and when I saw Lyle Cooper was on this album I knew I needed to check it out. I bought the discography almost instantly, reminds me a little of The Faceless and a bit more of Fallujah who I also adore. Well worth the money, Support these great Musicians! dragonslayer8228
Exciting heavy band Lanayah take the best elements of the loudest genres (shoegaze, black metal, hardcore, etc.) and make them their own. Bandcamp New & Notable Apr 27, 2023
Even in its prettiest, most celestial moments, the South Dakota trio's sound feels dark and dense and deeply rooted. Bandcamp Album of the Day Aug 24, 2021
