lyrics
There is no explanation what I'm getting through
I’m just a passenger in time
Sitting in the train of memories
Counting every mile of track that takes me back
Cities where we have been, places I have already seen
I close my eyes
When things are getting worse
And I wake up in the new world
That does not hurt
Was this meant for me?
Regret after regret
I drink courage liquid to feel alive so limitless and lost in time
Then I take a deep breath and enjoy all good that’s left inside
Counting every mile of track that takes me back
Time to breakthrough and time to lose myself
I close my eyes and dive into the dark
I'm ready to drop
Till the very last shot
I feast with you all
With ignition and joy
But I know that I will lose my way again
Facing the demons that live inside my head
Try to live through this night and stay alive
And all there will ever be
Is what's happening here
The decisions we make in this moment
Which are based in either love or fear
Everything I gain in life will rot and fall apart
And all that will be left of me
Is what was in my heart
And I know that I will lose my way again
But I will come back, I promise I will
Maybe this will be our last chance to dance
But it will be the one I won't regret
I'm a big fan of The Faceless middle two albums and when I saw Lyle Cooper was on this album I knew I needed to check it out. I bought the discography almost instantly, reminds me a little of The Faceless and a bit more of Fallujah who I also adore. Well worth the money, Support these great Musicians! dragonslayer8228
Exciting heavy band Lanayah take the best elements of the loudest genres (shoegaze, black metal, hardcore, etc.) and make them their own. Bandcamp New & Notable Apr 27, 2023
Even in its prettiest, most celestial moments, the South Dakota trio's sound feels dark and dense and deeply rooted. Bandcamp Album of the Day Aug 24, 2021
